Welcome to Down Home Roundup

Down Home Roundup is a blog/podcast dedicated to Indie Country artists and their work.  One of the differences between independent and mainstream signed artists is that most often, Indie artists create their work out of a sincere love of music and the stories they tell.  That isn’t to say that these talented individuals would refuse a dollar or two if it should come their way but they are driven by the art and not by the dollar.  Existing episodes of Down Home Roundup were produced about five years ago.  Since that time, I have wanted to resume the series but life and its struggles intervened.  I won’t get into details but stability has returned to my world and I would like to pick up where I left off.  I hope to have new episodes posted in the near future.  In the meantime, enjoy the old stuff!

I think it makes the most sense to start with the very first episode. This program, from February 2019, features the music of Jessie Lynn, Taylor Renee, Steve Dunfee, Chloe Collins and Mikalyn.
